Quem Matou Pixote? comeÇa por onde todo filme deveria comeÇar: um bom roteiro. Esta é a base para um filme em que tudo funciona com eficiência justamente porque ele não se preocupa em apregoar esta eficiência. Quem Matou Pixote?é mais hollywoodiano do que a safra de filmes que hegemonizam a tentativa de ser hollywoodiano. E também brasileiríssimo - desde a temática até o jeito de abordá-la. Aí é que Quem Matou Pixote? ganha universalidade: não é concebido como um filme para inglês ver ( e nem como novela de TV) e ao mesmo tempo tem uma potencial empatia com o público, que já se materializou pelo menos no prêmio do júri popular em Gramado. Todos os elementos contribuem para isso, além do roteiro: boas interpretaÇões (especialmente Roberto Bomtempo), boa fotografia, montagem e a música de David Tygel, que dá o tom preciso. E o diretor José Joffily Filho age como bom maestro ou técnico de futebol: deixa a orquestra tocar, o time jogar, sem querer aparecer demais. More info in Portuguese in http://www.pixote.com.br.
