FIBRA CINE VIDEO is offering a FREE copy of the screenplay Book to those who send us any audiovisual material or documentation about Francisco de ASSIS CHATEAUBRIAND Bandeira de Mello (photos, old documentary or news movies, soundtapes, newspapers, magazines, etc.) in order to enrich the Research for ART DESIGN and ACTOR'S DIRECTING. If you do prefer, we may refund your expenses and still give your FREE book.
Depending upon the authenticity of your material, we will insert credits on the film/mini-series acknowledging your participation. In any case, send us a message, and be part of this Cultural Project.

    25/12/95 O site CINEMA BRAZIL celebrates with welcome visitors the mark of 14.000 (fourteen thousands) acesses from all over the world. While announcing its Portuguese version thouroughly revised, the site launches the seed of a NEW CATALOG of Brazilian Films ready to be distributed abroad, which will be developed by teachers of Dept. of Cinema in Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).
    till 17/12/95 Project CHATEAUBRIAND is intensively promoted by VERA CRUZ DTVM in its stand in RIO CULT 95, where a cocktail gathered personalities such as Hugo Carvana, Rosamaria Murtinho, Neville de Almeida, Pedro Rovai, Prof. Carlos Alberto Serpa among many others. Marcos Manhães Marins gave interview to TV ESTÁCIO, a UHF TV station which were covering the event.
    15/12/95 Magazine INTERNET World/December 95 publishes article about Project Chateaubriand on page 22.
    Actor OTHON BASTOS confirmed by phone his firm will to perform Chateaubriand in the second phase. During RIO CULT 95 he was in São Paulo essaying his new play MARACUTAIA with José Wilker.
    27/11/95 Film maker and producer Pedro Carlos Rovai sends us photo and synopsis of his movie to be published in our CATALOG OF BRAZILIAN FILMS. He is preproducing "AS TRANÇAS DE MARIA". He wrote us: "Applauses to your beautiful initiative."
    26/11/95 Film maker Marcos Manhães Marins finishes today the Spanish version of a video he directed to Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro: "COPPE - Una Inversión Social" is being exhibited this week in Bolivia/Mercosul.
    23/11/95 Actor Fábio Junqueira ("História de Amor"/ TV GLOBO) mail us to join Project CHATEAUBRIAND
    Set Decorator Peter G. mail us to join Project CHATEAUBRIAND
    Following advice of his financial agent, Fernando David (VERA CRUZ DTVM), Director Marcos Manhães Marins, attends meeting with LUIZ CARLOS BARRETO, who had given comments to the Press that he was interested in PRODUCING the film CHATEAUBRIAND from the registered Screenplay written by Marcos Manhães Marins.
    07/11/95 FOLHA DE SÃO PAULO newspaper publishes article on our homepage CinemaBrazil (NETVOX section)
    06/11/95 ANDIMA publishes inside its newspaper the photos of "Chateaubriand" Project and a press release forwarded to all banks here.
    01/11/95 Actor Paulo Betti (film LAMARCA, photo)sends us an e-mail: he is reading the screenplay and he is regarding our invitation seriously.
    BANCO DO BRASIL selects our project "CHATEAUBRIAND" to grant funds to it and let it come true to Brazilian Culture.
